[momiʎ'ʎaːno], Attilio, italienischer Literarhistoriker, * Ceva (Provinz Cuneo) 7. 3. 1883, ✝ Florenz 5. 4. 1952; war ab 1920 Professor in Catania, dann in Pisa und Florenz. Seine »Storia della letteratura italiana dalle origini ai nostri giorni« (1936) ist die beste Gesamtübersicht seit dem Werk von F. De Sanctis. Momiglianos Essays und Monographien erschienen zum Teil im »Corriere della Sera«, dann in Buchform.
